One of the many regrets that I have of the time period I don't remember is of my kids. Though I have been accused of abusing them and being a threat to them by some. Others have told me that they were my life. This has made things extremely confusing and frustrating. This week I received 2 emails from my oldest daughter Shakaya. Though these make things harder, I wanted to share them.

Dad i just want to let you know that you will always be the person we need you to be no matter what happends. That we will always love you no matter what you do. We were, and i hope, are still close. You were the only person i could cry in front of with out feeling like a wimp. You were always there for me and i hope you still are. I hope that soon we can see each other because i realy miss you. I am always daddys little girl and no one can change that no matter what they do. I realy miss haveing you by my side to help me with problems i had and me helping you with yours. I know you do not remember what happend over the past 14 years but why not make new memories? Im turning 14 july 25 tala is turning 10 on may 30th and kelani is turning 6 on aug 29. My biggest wish right now is to be with you! I hope that we can see you soon. I love you!!!! Please right back, if you want to.....
